Privacy Policy

Huevo LLC ("huevo," "we," "us"), PO Box 300, Mount Dora, FL 32757, operates drinkhuevo.com (the "Site"), services wholesale accounts for approved retail partners by email and invoice, and sells to consumers through Amazon. This policy explains what we collect, why, who sees it, and the choices you have. It covers all three; where they differ, we say so.

drinkhuevo.com is operated from the United States for a US audience. We don't direct it to, or ship to, the EU, UK or other countries, and information you submit is stored in the United States.

The short version

drinkhuevo.com is a brand site. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics or advertising trackers, and has no third-party embeds. The only personal information it collects is the email address you choose to give us for launch news and occasional flavor news and recipes, together with the fact that you ticked the consent box. We don't sell it, we don't share it for advertising, and you can leave the list with one click.

What we collect on drinkhuevo.com

Email signup. If you use the "Notify me at launch" form we collect your email address, your consent choice, and the date and time you submitted it. That's all the form asks for, because that's all we need.

Hosting logs. The Site is hosted by Netlify. Like any web host, Netlify's servers record standard technical information when a page is requested — IP address, browser type, the page requested, the time, and the referring page — in server logs used for security, capacity, and abuse prevention. We do not use these logs to build profiles or to track you across other sites. Netlify's own handling of this data is described in its privacy policy.

Nothing else. We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, session recording, heat maps, A/B testing tools, or embedded videos or social widgets. Links to our Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Amazon pages are plain links; nothing loads from those companies until you click and leave our Site, at which point their privacy policies apply.

What we collect for wholesale accounts

Approved retail and distribution partners apply and order by email; we record their accounts and orders in a system we run on Shopify and send invoices for payment. We collect what a wholesale account needs: business name, contact name, email, phone, billing and ship-to addresses, EIN or resale certificate, order history, and communications with us. Payment card details go directly to Shopify Payments on its secure checkout page; we see only the last four digits and the authorization result. That checkout page sets the cookies Shopify needs for payment security and shows its own cookie notice.

What we receive from Amazon

Retail purchases are made on Amazon, not on this Site, and Amazon's own privacy notice governs your Amazon account and order. To fulfil, support and account for those orders, Amazon passes us limited order information: for orders Amazon ships from its warehouses, an order number, the items ordered and, where you contact us, your messages; for orders we ship ourselves, also your name and shipping address. We use this only to fulfil and support your order, handle returns and meet tax and accounting obligations. We do not add Amazon customers to our email list, and Amazon's policies restrict how we may use this information.

Why we use it

We don't use your information for automated decision-making or profiling.

Who we share it with

Only service providers who process it on our instructions: Netlify (hosting and form submissions), Shopify and its payment processors (wholesale site), our email sending provider when we send campaigns, our manufacturing and fulfilment partner and shipping carriers (wholesale orders only), and our accountants. Each receives only what it needs for its job and may not use it for its own purposes. We also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect our rights or someone's safety, and to a successor if the business is sold.

We do not sell personal information and have not done so in the preceding 12 months. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Marketing email and your consent

We only send marketing email to people who opted in. The signup form asks for an affirmative tick, and we keep a record of it. Every message includes a working unsubscribe link and our postal address, as the CAN-SPAM Act requires; unsubscribing takes effect immediately. If we ever send text messages we will ask for separate, explicit consent first.

How long we keep it

Email-list records: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them, after which we keep only a suppression record so we don't email you again. Wholesale and Amazon order and tax records: as long as tax and accounting law requires, generally seven years. Hosting logs are retained by Netlify for a limited period under its own policy.

Security

Form submissions travel over HTTPS. Access to submissions and the wholesale admin is limited to people who need it, behind passwords and two-factor authentication. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't promise absolute security, but if a breach affects your information we will notify you as Florida law (Fla. Stat. § 501.171) and other applicable laws require.

Children

drinkhuevo.com is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them. Our signup form asks you to confirm you are 18 or older. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us at any time to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop emailing you. Email info@drinkhuevo.com or write to the address above. We'll verify the request, act within 45 days, and never treat you differently for asking. Residents of states with consumer-privacy laws (including California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, and others) may have additional rights under those laws; you can exercise all of them through the same email address.

California residents

This section is our notice at collection under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA.

Changes

If we change this policy we'll post the new version here with a new date. If a change materially affects how we use information we already have, we'll email the list before it takes effect.
